Meet Paul Lambdin

Since I first bolted the lifts in the floor and painted the walls in early 1990.

I’m originally from Virginia.

How I ended up here is an interesting story. While working odd jobs in Florida – chasing my future wife – to raise money for more water skiing training, I happened upon a tire tech job with Goodyear Tire/Rubber Co. After taking the technician training courses through Goodyear, I worked at the Hollywood Blvd Store in Florida for two years.

Knowing we didn’t want to start a family in the fast and crazy world of Miami, my wife and I finally decide to move closer to home, taking a transfer to the Goodyear store on Chatham Street in 1981. Almost 10 years later, we opened Cary Car Care.

Having a knack for mechanical/electrical things and a love for studying, sharing and solving those kinds of challenges.

I enjoy the opportunity to help people understand our world a little better, solving problems when others can’t and making something complex not such a big deal.

I enjoy helping my three wonderful daughters and their families with their projects, music and voices. I also love water skiing, flying tail-wheel airplanes, antiques, wood and metalworking and too many other things. Not enough time and money for them all!

Meet B.J. Lambdin

I have been with Cary Car Care since the Summer of 1998.

I’m originally from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I’ve always had an interest in how things work, problem solving and cars. It seemed natural to move to Cary and work with family at Cary Car Care.

My versatility. I’ve worked in almost every role in my time here and know what it takes to get the job done.

I enjoy the relationships we have created with our customers through our hard work. A lot goes into the knowledge, equipment, people and experience required to provide good service and see our customers satisfied is the best reward.

I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, woodworking and spending time with my family.

Meet Kelsey Lambin

I’ve been with Cary Car Care since April 2013.

I was born in the area, but have moved around a bit. I decided to settle here because this is where my family is located. After all, this is my dad’s shop!

I offer a different perspective on things since I’ve never worked in the industry before.

The team has worked really hard to gain the trust of clients and it shows. I am so proud when clients are constantly coming in raving about our company and my dad. It feels so great to be a part of that.

I most enjoy spending time with my family. My wonderful son is almost two and we’re expecting our second child in January 2021. We have all our nieces and nephews local so we love to all get together and play! Nothing beats a beautiful day outside with the group and some good food!

I am also a coffee fanatic! I enjoy projecting around the house, reading and following NCSU sports (especially the men and women’s basketball teams – Go Pack!)

Meet Kurt Wolf

Since October of 2016

Queens/Long Island, NY. Wanted a better life and opportunity for my four kids. I wanted away from congestion and high cost of living. Kelsey contacted me via Indeed.

I am honest, trustworthy, ethical, stand by morals and have integrity. I am the face of Cary Car Care. I am a teacher, doctor and a friend. But out of all of that aside – I make people around me laugh and be happy.

I love what I do and Cary Car Care is a family that keeps me loving what I do! I enjoy coming to work ever day. My work/life time is equal. No complaints.

“Kiddos Activities” Then – woodworking, fishing puzzles, eating, poker, hunting, hang gliding, cave crawling and competition jump roping! Okay maybe only some of these spare time activities 🙂

Meet Phil Ubinger

I’ve worked at Cary Car Care since 2005 – 19 years.

I moved to the Triangle area in 1997 from Florida. I purchased a home in Cary and was looking to work somewhere close to home.

I believe my 40 years of experience in the field and the fact that I’m an ASE Master Tech is important. I also contribute by talking to folks about Cary Car Care outside of work and then bringing them in as customers.

Cary Car Care has been in business in Cary for 35 years and has a strong reputation. Also, many of my friends are customers at Cary Car Care.

I really enjoy the outdoors – camping, fishing, hunting, backpacking, etc. – and spending that time outdoors with my family and children, two daughters and one son.

Meet Landon Perentis

I am from Chapel Hill and honestly, I’ll say I never came around Cary until I started working here, so I guess I took a chance and I’m glad I did.

My FAVORITE contribution is my unwillingness to let a car beat me.

One of the many things I enjoy about working at Cary Car Care is the pride we take in keeping our shop neat and clean.

Meet Bryan Johnson

I am from Willow Springs and wanted to work close by.

The ability to learn new things.

The location is very nice, our work-life balance is something I could never find anywhere else in this industry, and our procedures are some of the best in the area.

I’m really into motorsports, whether it be in real life or simulation.

Meet Tawana Hill

I moved to North Carolina just shy of thirty years ago from Mississippi where I was reared in the coastal community of Moss Point. I lived in Durham for many years, and then moved to Cary in 2009. I arrived to Cary Car Care after being intentional to reside and work in Cary.

My strongest contribution to Cary Car Care is providing support to coworkers and engagement with clients to provide excellent customer service.

Working at Cary Car Care has afforded me an opportunity to work with a friendly staff and meet individuals who live in Cary and those connected to its community.

When away from work, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading, and spending time with family.

I was born in Danville, VA but have lived in the Raleigh area for 30 years. When I moved to Cary, there was no second choice to Cary Car Care!

Meet Chad Dunn

From Caldwell, NC originally, live in Benson, NC now. Noticed an ad on Indeed and more than happy I put in my application.

My strongest attribute is my integrity and mechanical ability. I want to repair cars correctly the first time.

All the techs work together without a competitive atmosphere. Everyone from owners to techs have the same mentality, to provide the best service possible to the customer out of honest any integrity rather than just wanting to push for money.

I enjoy running my family’s food truck, traveling with my fiancee and kids. Love the outdoors: hunting, fishing, spending time on the water and watching my kids playing sports.

Meet Mary Jane Dela Cruz

I started working at Cary Care in June of 2023.

I am originally from Colorado, then I drove 1,717 miles to be with family.

I am a positive person and I like being in a customer service facing role. I get to talk to all sorts of people!

The customers are one of my favorite things that causes me to enjoy working here. Co-workers are welcoming nad everyone is kind.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, darts, and spending time with my grandfather and my cats (Missy and Squid Games)
